If Discountedto style the subtotal differently once a discount is applied, with its own↳ Fontand↳ Color.Pair it with Cart Subtotal Compare and Cart Subtotal Savings when you want to show a full discount breakdown.
Styling the discounted state separately
The If Discounted control decides whether a discounted total looks different from a full-price one. Leave it on Inherit to keep the base Font / Color in both cases, or switch it to Customize to reveal a second ↳ Font / ↳ Color pair that only applies once a discount has brought the total down.
What the total does (and doesn't) include
Cart Subtotal reads Shopify's post-discount total amount directly, so it always reflects any active discounts. It does not include tax or shipping — those are calculated by Shopify at checkout, which is why the final checkout total can differ from the amount shown here. Currency and locale follow the customer's active market automatically; the currency fields inside Format only affect what you see while designing on canvas.
