Connect your design to
⦿ Design— it's shown or hidden based on the recipe.Set
✦ Recipe IDto match the Butter plugin's Set Component Visibility recipe action, or leave it blank and let the plugin bind it automatically when you insert this component from that action.
What it does
Pair this component with a recipe's Set Component Visibility action. When the recipe's conditions are met — say, the customer arrived with a discount code, or their cart meets a set requirement — your connected design appears. When they're not, it's hidden completely: it takes up no space on the page rather than sitting there invisibly. On the canvas and in the editor it always shows your connected design, so you can style it without a live recipe.
vs. Recipe Framer Event Trigger/Dismiss
This is distinct from Recipe Framer Event Trigger and Recipe Framer Event Dismiss, which fire an interaction — like opening an overlay — rather than showing or hiding a design directly.
